Mission -To improve the well being of people by providing crisis support services.

History- We began 20 years ago when a group of churches determined it was best to work together in supporting and meeting the needs of hurting people. It has evolved and grown over the years but our purpose has remained to be true. It is our desire to be the premiere place for providing information and referral services for the residents of McKinney and north Collin County.

Funding -Is provided mainly by local churches and individual donations. Additional support is at times provided by TXU Energy, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), City of McKinney Community Development Block Grant & Community Support, churches, and local businesses.

Please consider pledging your consistent support as our goal is to be self-supporting by the communities of McKinney and north Collin County.

Offers – Emergency financial assistance to families in temporary crisis situations.  This support includes, but is not limited to: rent, utilities, medical and prescription assistance. Special projects throughout the year may include collecting and distributing school supplies and holiday meals. We are seeking to expand our services.

Service Area – After the first year of operation, the service delivery area was expanded beyond McKinney. It now includes the cities of Altoga, Anna, Blue Ridge, Celina, Copeville, Farmersville, Josephine, Lavon, Lowry Crossing, Melissa, Nevada, New Hope, Princeton, Prosper, Westminster, and Weston; the northern portion of Collin County.

The Community Lifeline Center does not assist people who are chronically unemployed and make no effort to help themselves. We provide *Emergency Assistance only.  Our focus is to get clients and families to become self-supporting as quickly as possible.
